Here's a great iPhone App.
He's red, he has a huge mouth and he's called 'Talking Carl'. He copies everything you say in his cute little growly voice. He giggles if you tickle his tummy and he yelps if you poke him in the eye.The game usually starts with a little voice pleading, "Daddy, can I please talk to Carl on your iPhone?" And then we load him up and it's on:
Anna-Lucia: Hello, Carl!
Carl: Hello, Carl!
A-L: Hello, Carl!
Carl: Hello, Carl!
A-L: (giggles)
Carl: (giggles)
A-L: I am Anna!
Carl: I am Anna!
A-L: No, I am Anna!
Carl: No, I am Anna!
A-L: No, I AM ANNA!
Carl: No, I AM ANNA!
A-L, angrily: Your name is 'Carl'!
Carl: Your name is 'Carl'!
A-L: No, your name is 'Carl'!
Carl: No, your name is 'Carl'!
A-L: NO, YOUR NAME IS 'CARL'!!!
Carl: NO, YOUR NAME IS 'CARL'!!!
A-L: Ooh, let me tickle you! [Tickles Carl's tummy.]
Carl: Ooh, let me tickle you! [Giggles.]
A-L: No, I will tickle you! [Tickles.]
Carl: No, I will tickle you! [Giggles]
A-L: Okay Carl, I will poke you in the eye. [Poke.]
Carl: Okay Carl, I will poke you in the eye. OW!
A-L: [Poke.]
Carl: OW!
A-L: [Poke. Giggle.]
Carl: OW! [Giggle.]
A-L: [Poke. Giggle]
Carl: OW! [Giggle.]
There's something weird about a two-year-old poking the life out of an animated character's eye just for the laughs.

LOL - I love the iphone, I don't know how I ever lived without one!
Cute! I have about 10 free games on my iPhone for my 10 year old son to play with. It is our bribe to get him to go out to eat at a sit down restaurant. I've learned not to hand him my phone in the car though. I've heard "oops, what did I just do?" too many times.
LOL! I think that this is the best reason for getting an iPhone!
LOL around and around in circles it goes.. how cute!
First I've heard of Carl, but if A-L loves him. I'm all for it.
It's better than a poke in the eye as they old saying goes. But maybe not for Carl.
iphones are amazing.
We'll look for Carl on our itouch.

I think I need to go find Carl. he sounds very cool and can see he will certainly be another in the bribery book

Oooh now this sounds like a fun app! I wonder if it's available for the iTouch (as I'm now the new owner of an iTouch!)...
Then again, I don't know that I want Kiddo hogging my new iTouch, so maybe I'd be better off not finding it after all!
:-D
I've seen Anna in action torturing Carl, and it's funnily disturbing!
Hang on, I HATED it when my little brother used to copy everything I said. And now it's amusing?
Ohhhh, I was never allowed to poke him in the eyes for it. I get it now.
