"Hey," I said to Mr de Elba. "Who drew this picture? It's not Buzz's style, but Jessie isn't drawing real things yet.
She just writes her name: scribble-hyphen-scribble.
She doesn't do actual people with eyes, mouth, hair, hands and feet. So who drew it?"

Turns out, Jessie is older, cleverer and more grown-up than she'd let on.

And it really is a stunning portrait of you too! But is your hair on fire? ; )
I was once told that drawing people that well at a young age was a sign of high intelligence...and it was about my daughter, who is very intelligent! So, you may just have a genius on your hands!
nawwwww how cute!! She is very clever indeed!
Now to explain that drawing on a white board is okay and very clever, but the walls are no go?
Heh. Good point! I was quite amazed that both the bigger kids understood that pretty early on, perhaps because they could always fulfil their desire to draw on the board. I was expecting a bigger fight or at least a bit of ruined paintwork.
And a talented little on she is. :)
I love those early pictures when people always have heads with limbs! That's gorgeous.
You have to watch those babies. They have a tendency to grow up on you when you're not looking.
Her drawing kind of looked like Bart Simpson.
Love that big marker in that tiny hand.
