Mess

There are dolls in our bed. There's a measuring cup in Sonny's room. There's an aerobie (frisbee) in our living room. I don't know why.

If I picked up 50 items before breakfast and put them in their proper places, my children would scatter 70 items. I cannot keep up with the rate of messing in this house.

A few months ago, Smoochy Girl (I assume) lost my credit card. There was no activity on that account, so I was fairly sure the card wasn't stolen. I searched high and low for a fortnight but in the end, I cancelled the card and had it replaced.

Unfortunately I forgot to change my details on a few direct debits. This (coupled with slackness on the part of my phone company) caused my mobile to be disconnected and some costly fees were charged to me before I got all cranky and demanded a reversal on the grounds that they didn't give me any warnings that my payments were being declined.

I have finally sorted out the chage of details on that and several other accounts. And yesterday, Smoochy Girl went through my purse again. Cards everywhere. And wouldn't you know it - my credit card is missing!

I'll just add it to my list of things to stress about.

kids! what are we going to do with them. I have totally given up on picking up the house during the day. It looks like a hurricane went through but at least I don't make myself crazy picking up all.the.time.

My girls could and can still wreck a room in no time.
As for your purse. I'd find a high shelf that little Miss Smoochy Girl can't reach.

It's funny how they leave their stuff all out in the open, but they take our stuff and hide it somewhere. What's up with that.
Little Stinkers.
Hope you find it,

Joy

My husband says that if you put our two boys in a padded, locked room with no windows and put two bowling balls in there with them, they'd lose one and break the other. LOL.

Hmmm, smart little lass there. She knows what the good plastic is!

Hope you can find it soon and don't have to start all over again!

oooo-K, little kids and credit cards don't mix well...got it. Thanks for the heads up on that one. I'm placing my wallet WAY-UP-HIGH...Right....NOW!

Our 4 year old son lost about a hundred dollar remote lock/alarm clicker to my Subaru Outback...Yeah I know, it seems kinda ludicris to give a Japanese brand car, built in America, an Ausy name

Just goes to show, refer a product somehow to Australia, and Americans will flat eat-it-up...besides, they're great cars.

A "High Shelf", Joy?

That's prime real estate in any house with kids. There are too many things to put on a "High Shelf" that there's no way they could ever all fit.

And them the kid learns to climb.

I know, it is so true. The picking up of stuff in this house too is incessant. Sometimes I just say the heck with it. Find it when ye may...
