"Goodbye, old kitchen."
I was wondering if, after 34 years, this kitchen deserved some mourning. At least a little sadness to mark the end of the years of faithful service.
But as I paused after farewelling it, wondering if I should get reminiscent, Sonny Ma-Jiminy cut in with a casual wave of his hand and a dismissive, "Bye!" and I knew that I was being stupid.
Much better to blog its demise and replacement. Watch this space.

I think it is good to take a picture to see before and after. We are doing this with all our mancave pics and I'm going to make an album - that way if we sell, we can show the prospective buyers how much work we did :)

I can't wait to see the 'after'. But how are you going to live without 1970s mission brown, cream and burnt orange!
ReplyDeleteI am so excited about your new kitchen. I am living vicariously through you. Sadly my kitchen looks very similar to this picture but is still a while away from being upgraded.
