It wouldn't have been beyond them, would it?

My worst steering wheel lock experience happened after a friend of mine and I came out from the El Dorado cinema after seeing Elizabeth 1. Buoyed by romantic visions of Tudor life, we were brought back to reality with a thud when I found I had put the lock on, but somehow left the key (normally hidden in the car) at home! The train was not too far away, thankfully. It was hard to complain after the movie we'd seen -- The perils of life don't really have the rigour they used to. I'm sure being burnt at the stake would be a tad worse!Catherinehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01079053507817689870noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3474627686283911965.post-87922935211195158582011-03-26T07:51:46.152+10:002011-03-26T07:51:46.152+10:00Great story! The horn stopped working last year (probably worn out). We had to take it to two different mechanics to get it fixed. I think the first lot just rocked the car back and forth for an hour or so before declaring it unfixable. The second mechanic managed to fix it, but a few short months of honking later and it's stopped working again!tinsenpuphttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11955496156384131307noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3474627686283911965.post-91741344358303008132011-03-24T22:45:58.776+10:002011-03-24T22:45:58.776+10:00That must have been one great battery to have run ...That must have been one great battery to have run the horn for that long.mamahasspokenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18049292242708654609noreply@blogger.com
