Interminable

At slightly past the never-before-seen-or-imagined 39.5 week mark in what promises to be a 50-week pregnancy, I should be filling my time by writing insightful and witty blog posts on everything from the state of the Greek economy and the drama in the Tour de France to issues like pelvic separation in birth. So here is a list of what I have learned so far this day: 1. They looked through the diamond window in Play School today. And the day is only half-over, so I expect to learn even more before I go to bed tonight.

New Blogger interface not compatible with iPad, hence the loss of all paragraph breaks.

State of pelvis incompatible with getting up and turning on nice, familar, IBM desktop, hence the lack of fixing-up the poor formatting.

Low care factor, hence the ... continuing low care factor.

I just saw your comment on my blog and was about to reply with "Oh my gosh, are you STILL pregnant??" Clearly, no need to ask. You poor thing... I hope Junior arrives very soon.

I cannot overstate the tenterhookedness of my waiting for your child.

Can I please beg that you post at least a facebook update when the whole shebang starts happening? Because, no joke, this is the most exciting thing in my life right now. Yeah. I'm that cool.

HURRY UP BABY!!!

Possibly the most annoying thing anyone could say just now is, 'be thankful you aren't an elephant', so I wont say it, even if you feel like one. Do NOT say you look like one either, because I don't believe it - 'fruitful' perhaps?....

Ah, thanks for your comments! Nice to put a face to the name, gartcott, I've enjoyed your comments over the recent times. Why do you read my silly old blog at all? I used to have things to say! Alas, now that you've joined me, I've got nothing but which window they looked through in Play School today. So very sad.

And I look a bit like an elephant ... who had eaten another elephant ... you'd be free to say it. Honestly.

Ah, sorry, I misread your comment! You told me NOT to say I look like an elephant. Sorry. Truthfulness jmust took over there. Okay, how about this: I look like a ferret. Lean, lithe and ready to pwn your drainpipe (AND my skinny jeans.)

I need to watch Toy Story so I can figure out the likely name candidates. On the edge of my seat, waiting! I was able to go back to the old blogger interface. Don't remember how I did it. They said they would force me back eventually. But it would be great to get a few baby posts before the moment of doom! ;-) May your deliverance come quickly!

See, I could SWEAR that there never was a diamond window in Playschool. Unless I completely repressed it, I believe that the window options were only round, square, and arch.

Hang on, that's all? Only three? Heck, maybe there WAS a diamond window.

But no. No, I still think it's an imposter.

No you're right, the diamond window is new!
