The bathwater was yellow. With bits in it.

It's mango season. We are very happy.
And the best place to eat them is in the bath, of course.
Hence yellow bathwater with bits in it.  Why?  What did you think?

Did you ever read Marley and Me (or see the somewhat less fantastic movie version)? Marley the dog loooooved mangoes. The descriptions of the dog-eat-mango aftermath would make it entirely plausible for there to be a less delightful reason for yellow bathwater with bits in it.

Just sayin' ...

:-D

Totally weird - I've never read it but saw the movie only the day before yesterday. I was aghast. They broke the very first rule of Making A Movie Where The Dog Ends Up Dying ... they didn't end the movie with the happy scene of the family playing with a new puppy. My poor children. I didn't know! I assumed it would be a Circle Of Life, Old Dog/New Dog sort of thing. And we end up with a Beloved Pets Are Gonna Die thing instead. Not Happy.

I too watched the movie recently and cried my eyes out and vowed to never get a pet! They just die and make you sad. :(
Anyways...cute pics!

Given my shuddering hatred of mangoes - even the smell - I'm unsure which yellow-bathwater-with-bits option is worse.

Ha ha...so cute! And yes, what fun to bathe in fruit...he must have smelled very sweet at the end of his bath : )

Of course! Because when you make a mess, as you inevitably do, you just scrub right off! Genius!

Brings back memories. My Mum used to put us in the bath to eat mangoes! Failing that, we had to eat them outside and get washed down with the hose afterwards!
