Pregnancy Wardrobe

Thingamababy continues to grow.
And as he/she does, I realise I am beginning to wear my shirts like Winnie the Pooh.

(I do, however, wear pants.)

I read this on Google Reader and the text came up before the pic. I'm more familiar with the original illustrations of Winnie the Pooh (who didn't wear ANY clothes) so I must say I was quite relieved when the pic of the Disney version appeared. Down here in Victoria we tend to view Queenslanders as pretty laid back but really, there are limits!

And here I was expecting a shot of yourself to compare below Winnie! (with pants, of course)

I would have except my camera has run out of charge and I have no idea where the charger is ... was it packed in a box? Was it with me in my suitcase? Will I need to buy a new charger? The comparison picture would have been much more effective, I agree.

Hipster bands are awesome for this. I recently nearly offered to buy one for this derelict pregnant chick, who'd simply given up and was wearing a top just like Pooh's downtown.

She had huge stretchmarks and a prominent outie. It was fascinating.

I've got two of those, they're okay. What I meant to say (and what the photo would have shown) is that I'm stocking up on long singlet tops and wearing them under the Winnie-the-Pooh tops, giving a layered albeit comical effect given that the inadequacies of the top layers are only too obvious.

And are you craving honey, too?

I remember at the end of my pregnancies, I only had one pair of pants and two shirts I could wear. Ugh.
