Those that have young

So here's the thing. Remember a few weeks ago when I found a Bible verse that seemed to be for me? It went like this:

He settles the barren woman in her home
as a happy mother of her children.
Praise the Lord. (Ps 113:9)

And I was thinking that it wasn't really in context, so it didn't make sense that it comforted me that much. But I was taking any comfort I could get at that time.

Every time I come back to it, I see that it wasn't written for me or my situation at all. The middle bit doesn't say "as a happy mother of her children" at all - it says "as a happy mother of children." It's not about the Lord promising to settle me in a home and be happy with the kids I've got, it's about the Lord giving children to a woman who couldn't have any, and settling her in the home she already had. And that is a comfort I would never grudge her.

I then came across this other one that has comforted me in the past. I am glad I was reminded of it.
He tends his flock like a shepherd:
He gathers the lambs in his arms
and carries them close to his heart;
he gently leads those that have young.
Isaiah 40:11
"Those that have young." That's me! (Unless I have to literally BE a sheep for this verse to be about me.)

But I have young. And so unless this is about some random mother sheep, it says that he gently leads me.

Does that mean that the questions will be answered, the loose ends will be tied up and I will be peaceful in our new home?

The Lord is my Shepherd I shall not want....My sheep hear my voice.... We're defintely his sheep. He is the good Shepherd and He is faithful.
I know you will feel at peace in your new home.

I think that, no matter where you are, no matter which verses speak to you or don't, if you have God in your heart all the questions will be answered and you will find peace.

Yes ~ and isn't it exciting to know that God, in His divine time, knows the perfect timing for you to feel the peace you are going to feel.

As a matter of fact, I think you are already beginning to feel it.

You will get the answers to the questions that you have. HE will reveal them to you, not right away like you want him to, but he will. He is teaching you patience. He reminds us all of that when he teaches us a hard lesson. I have to remember that all the time, that he will lead me where I need to go and show me what I need to see when its time for me to see it.

Yes.

It doesn't say when, though.

Keep on hanging on!

Yes, I believe that in His timing you will feel peace. Have you ever heard of the picture of the bird nesting on a mountainside with a storm raging around it? Peace can be found in God even when your circumstances are chaotic. It's not easy, I know, but keep claiming His promises and it will happen.
