Halt the 60-day Countup!

We think we've got bed-bug spots on the bed sheets. We think we've been bitten. We're thinking of burning the house down.

OH DEAR LORD NO NOT ANY MORE BED BUGS!!

Maybe it's the CHICKENPOX?!?!

Yeah, it's totally chickenpox.

PS - NEVER COMING TO THE LAND OF PLENTY!!LOL

Seriously, we're not sure. We haven't seen any bugs, and we're not sure what the recent spots and itches are from. And of course, we're paranoid.

Chickenpox and spider bites would be preferable.

The Land of Plenty is pretty good. We're just not ready to rule out that our house could have ... problems.

A question ... we're sort-of half-planning to go to a camp in September - one of the five camps from Sept-Dec 2007 that we could have picked up the bugs from. Should we decline to go in protest? Should we wait and see if our bugs are gone? Should we go back and investigate to see if they indeed have a bug problem?

Either way, Hubs is planning to be a leader of about 120 high-school kids, so SOMEBODY will have to be decontaminated at the end of it.

The count is back on. You've decided that it's not BBs or that you have had no further symptoms and are hoping that it's not BBs?

Here's hoping the lack of symptoms continue. Jen.

I say make hubs go alone, stay home and eat bon bons. He can go through the decontamination alone.

Also all of his camping gear should be hermetically sealed so he is basically sleeping on and wearing black trash bags the entire time. That way those suckers have NOTHING to ride home on but his hairy legs.

Okay I'm hoping that in the USA 'bon-bons' are seriously different to what I'm picturing. Which is me biting into a cardboard thing with paper hats and bad jokes inside, and then *bang!* the gunpowder goes off in my mouth while everyone yells, "MERRY CHRISTMAS!"

You call them crackers I think?

Nauntie Lush said...

Yes, those are the English crackers.

Our crackers are square, and flat and salty, or cheesy or chicken flavored etc. (I think they are called biscuts?)

And Bon-Bons are chocolates, filled with anything from mousse, to liqours, to fruits to ice cream. They are smallish, and WONDERFUL.

Maybe I should send you a couple dozen so you can practice?

Spot on, your 'crackers' are our 'biscuits' and your 'biscuits' are ... I'm not sure what we'd call them?

It's a wonder you & I can communicate at all.

Your bon-bons sounds fantastic. Yes, send a couple dozen and I will practice :)
